A senior executive in an automobile company was on Friday shot at here while he was on a morning walk with his wife, police said.
The victim has been identified as Ramesh Yadav, 40, a vice-president at a firm in Sector 37, police said.
He has been admitted to a private multi-speciality hospital where his condition is said to be stable.
"Unidentified men shot at him (Yadav) twice while he was returning to his house," a senior police officer said.
The reason behind the incident could not be established immediately, the officer added.
