Juventus director Beppe Marotta has dismissed speculation that the Italian football champions could lose their head coach Massimiliano Allegri to Chelsea as the English champions continue their hunt for the post.

Chelsea sacked champion head coach Jose Mourinho and appointed Guus Hiddink until end of the season. But they are yet to name the head coach from the next season and reportedly Juventus coach Allegri is one the top contenders to take charge of the London club.

However, Marotta shrugged off the report and suggested that Juventus and their coach have a great rapport.

"We have a great rapport with Allegri, now the crucial moment of the season is coming up, so we should focus on that," Marotta was quoted as saying by football-italia.net on Sunday.

"In any case, contracts are not as important as the rapport between people. With Allegri the conditions are all there to continue."

The Bianconeri are two points off the top of the table and face leaders Napoli next Saturday.

"The team is doing well and improving a great deal," Marotta stressed.

Apart from Allegri, former Juventus head coach and current Italy coach Antonio Conte has also been linked to the Chelsea job.

"Who would be most suited to Chelsea between Antonio Conte and Allegri? They are both top Coaches," Marotta felt.
