Popular film producer Dil Raju, who has acquired the theatrical rights of the Telugu dubbed version of Tamil movie "Theri", is confident that the film will perform well when it releases on April 14.
Directed by Atlee, the film stars Tamil superstar Vijay, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Amy Jackson.
"Vijay is in great form with hits like 'Thuppakki', and Atlee has already made a name for himself with 'Raja Rani'. I am confident that the film will do very well here. Sri Venkateswara Creations and Kalaipuli Thanu will be releasing the Telugu version of the film," Raju said in a statement.
Raju will release the film in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
"Theri" has music by G.V. Prakash Kumar, and it happens to be his 50th album.
