The Congress Monday congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his council of ministers who took oath at a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhawan and wished them well.
Congress spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi told reporters that the party expressed its "warm congratulations and our best wishes to the new prime minister and to the council of ministers who are being sworn in with him. We wish them well".
Singhvi refrained from commenting on the so-called 'jumbo ministry' of the National Democratic Alliance.
"These are matters entirely of the prerogative of the PM or the PM-designate. I would not like to say anything and especially not today because today is a special day," he said.
