The NDA government Monday tabled copies of six ordinances, including the contentious one amending the land acquisition act, in the Lok Sabha.
The copies were laid by Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Rajiv Pratap Rudy.
The government has to get bills passed on these ordinances which will expire before the end of the first part of the budget session March 20.
Some members, including those from the Trinamool Congress, were seen protesting as Rudy laid the copies.
The six ordinances included those on land acquisition, FDI in insurance, auction of coal blocks, e-rickshaws, mines and minerals and amendment to Citizenship Act.
Lok Sabha Secretary General Anoop Mishra also laid a copy of the address of Present Pranab Mukherjee to a joint sitting of the parliament.
