Celtic FC have made official the signing of Costa Rican defender Cristian Gamboa from English club West Bromwich Albion for the next three football seasons.
"Celtic are delighted to announce the signing of Cristian Gamboa from English Premier League side West Bromwich Albion on a three-year deal," said the Scottish club in a statement on Tuesday
Gamboa, 26, was capped 47 times with Cost Rica, scoring two goals, reports Efe.
He began his career in Municipal Liberia before making the jump to Europe in summer 2010 with Norwegian side Fredrikstad.
