A 31-year-old Costa Rican was arrested by Goa's anti-narcotics police Sunday for possessing 1.1 kg hashish, an official said.
Otto Mora Salazai was arrested near a football ground in Chapora coastal village known for drug trade, a police spokesperson said.
Chapora is located 25 km from Panaji.
Salazai had arrived at the football ground to sell the consignment.
"About 1.1 kg charas (hashish) has been seized from the accused. Salazai has been sent to judicial custody," police said.
