A couple in their late 40s were shot at by unknown assailants in central Delhi Friday, police said Saturday.
"Property dealer Satbeer and his wife Kaushalya had gone to meet meet a relative at Desh Bandhu Gupta Road. Two men on a motorcycle shot at them and sped away," said a police officer.
Satbeer was shot in his hand while his wife was shot in her head. They have been admitted to Jeevan Anmol Hospital in central Delhi.
Kaushalya's condition was critical, doctors said.
Police said the reason for the attack was "personal enmity".
