A sessions court here on Tuesday asked the Tihar Jail Superintendent to file a reply on jailed gangster Neeraj Sehrawat's alias Neeraj Bawana's plea against solitary confinement and listed the case for Wednesday.

Bawana's counsel M.S. Khan urged for directions to jail officials to move him from solitary confinement and thus restore his fundamental rights.

Khan also urged for better and hygienic living conditions for his client and other inmates in the central jail.

Bawana, former Delhi legislator Rambeer Shokeen, Pankaj Sehrawat, Sunil Rathi, Rahul Dabas, Naveen Dabas alias Bali, Naveen Hooda alias Bhanja, Amit Malik alias Bhura, Gurpreet Singh and Deepak Dabas alias Deepa are facing trial under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act for allegedly running an organised crime syndicate.
