Cristiano Ronaldo not happy with Madrid's transfer policy

Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo has criticised the transfer policy of club President Florentino Perez.

Speaking Monday night, the day the club unveiled former Manchester United forward Javier Hernandez on a loan deal for the current season, the Portuguese international, admitted that he would have "done things differently," over the summer, reports Xinhua.

The close season has seen the big money arrivals of James Rodriguez, Tony Kroos and goalkeeper Keylor Navas as well as Hernandez, while Diego Lopez, Alvaro Morata, winger, Angel di Maria and holding midfielder Xabi Alonso have all departed, leaving a slightly lopsided look to the squad.

"I have a very clear opinion, but I can't always say what I think because it would be on the front page of every newspaper, but if I was in charge, maybe I would not have done things like this," said Ronaldo at a sponsorship event organised on the outskirts of Madrid.

"The president (Perez) thinks the best for the team is to sign the players he has signed and to let others leave and you have to respect that," he added, predicting changes in Madrid's style of play.

"It will change, but it can change for better or for worse. I hope it is for the best as the new players are very good and it would be normal for them to adapt well, but Di Maria and Xabi were very important players for us," said the striker, who nevertheless welcomed Hernandez.

"He is another player who will help the club, I wish him the best and hope he succeeds," he concluded.
