Buglers of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on Monday created a new record by playing bugle continuously for 12 minutes and 35 seconds, a spokesperson said.

The record was created during the farewell parade for its Director General Prakash Mishra at the Kadarpur camp here.

"They broke their own earlier record of playing it continuously for 10 minutes 15 seconds," said the spokesperson.

A total of 72 male and 8 female buglers took part in the demonstration.

The record was included in Asia Book of Records and Komal Singh, an adjudicator for the book presented a certificate to this effect to Mishra.
