Former football player David Beckham got involved in a car accident over the weekend when his black Range Rover Sport hit another car.

The incident took place Oct 25 when Beckham was making an exit from his Beverly Hills house with son Brooklyn in the passenger's seat, reports dailystar.co.uk.

According to witnesses, Beckham drove out of his driveway and straight into a white Acura 4X4, driven by an unidentified woman.

Damage to any of the persons involved has not been reported.

After the crash, Beckham was said to have reversed back into the driveway of his house, awaiting the arrival of local police, who were called, to question him about the accident.

Onlookers reported that the police went inside Beckham's home to gather more information about the incident.

The Beckham's car, worth in excess of $60,000, suffered major damage in the accident.
