The activities of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's gang in Nepal was not discussed during the Sunday meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Nepali counterpart Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', the Ministry of External Affairs said on Monday.

Both leaders agreed to expedite all ongoing projects in the developmental and energy sectors as also community-based projects, MEA spokesperson Vikas Swarup told the media here.

"Prachanda raised the issue of anti-dumping investigation on jute products from Nepal, to which the Prime Minister (Modi) said he would look into the matter," Swarup said.

In October last year, the Indian Directorate General of Antidumping and Allied Duties, which functions under the aegis of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, had initiated an antidumping investigation on import of jute products, jute yarn/twine (multiple folded/cabled and single), hessian fabrics and jute sacking bags from Bangladesh and Nepal.

Swarup said both leaders noted with satisfaction that the next meeting of the India-Nepal Joint Commission will be held in New Delhi later this month to comprehensively review all aspects of bilateral cooperation.
