Debutante Antara Banerjee, who essays a journalist in Lom Harsh's directorial "Yeh Hai India", says the attempt of the film is to portray some of the feats achieved by the country and its citizens. The idea, she says, is to show the brighter side of India.

"There are so many misconceptions about India among foreign citizens...We Indians have contributed tremendously to the world, but they ignore it. We are striving to highlight an unexplored facet about India, which hasn't been depicted on screen before.

"There are issues that citizens have forgotten because we aren't reminded about them. We want to portray the remarkable feats achieved by India which has inspired innovations all over the world," Antara said in a statement.

She says it's the film's concept that drew her to "Yeh Hai India".

"When director Lom Harsh narrated the script to me, I was left stunned. The concept, writing and plot convinced me to star in the film. The experience while shooting was amazing, and I'm proud to be a part of such patriotic film," she added.

The first schedule of "Yeh Hai India" has concluded in Jaipur.

The shooting will be spread across Mumbai and Haridwar too.

The film is produced by Lom Harsh and Sandeep Choudhary under the banner of DLB Films Pvt Ltd.
