Delhi businessman robbed in house at gun point

Two armed robbers burst into the house of a businessman here and fled with Rs.80,000 in cash and jewellery worth lakhs of rupees after holding him hostage at gunpoint, police said Saturday.

Sandeep Khanna, who deals in building materials, was alone at his house in east Delhi's Shahdara area when the two robbers entered around 9 p.m. Friday.

Khanna told police that the robbers fled on a bike waving a pistol in the air.
