Delhi Congress' women's wing protests

Hundreds of female activists of the Delhi Mahila Congress protested at the BJP headquarters here against yoga guru Baba Ramdev for his recent remarks on Dalits and BJP spokesperson Meenakshi Lekhi upholding the remarks.

The protestors marched on Ashoka Road but were stopped by policemen a few meters away from the BJP headquarters Thursday evening.

"We want action against Ramdev and we condemn Lekhi for upholding his comments," president of the Delhi Congress' women wing Onika Mehrotra told IANS.
