A 14-year-old student was Tuesday run over by a DTC bus while he was returning from school, said police. An angry mob later vandalised 10 buses.
The accident took place at Govindpuri in south Delhi around 1.30 p.m.
The Class 9 student, identified as Sagar, was returning from school when the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) bus hit him near Majeedia hospital, said police.
Sagar was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead.
Angry over the accident, a mob, comprising mostly school students, damaged 10 DTC buses and blocked the road for an hour. Police later managed to defuse the situation.
