Delhi to have cloudy sky, rain on Wednesday

The national capital experienced a warm day on Tuesday with the maximum temperature recorded at 35.7 degrees Celsius -- two notches above the season's average -- but intermittent showers brought welcome relief in some parts of the city. The weather office said Wednesday would be similar.

"Delhi received 4 mm rainfall till Tuesday evening. Wednesday is also likely to be cloudy with rain in some parts of the city," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The maximum and the minimum temperatures on Wednesday were likely to hover around 35 degrees and 26 degrees Celsius, respectively.

The minimum temperature on Tuesday settled a notch below the season's average at 25.7 degrees Celsius.

Monday's minimum temperature settled at 24.4 degrees Celsius -- two notches below the season's average -- while the maximum temperature was recorded a notch below the season's average at 33.2 degrees Celsius.
