India's Dharminder Lilly pulled off a sensational 4-3 result against former world champion Muhammad Asif of Pakistan for his third consecutive win in the league phase of the IBSF 6 Reds World snooker championship here.

From two frames down Sunday, Lilly fought back to level at 2-all with a break of 66 in fourth and won the next for a 3-2 advantage.

Muhammad, however, claimed the sixth and had the seventh all sewn up, but a miss on the last pink saw Lilly sink the colour to take the match 4-3.

Also maintaining his unbeaten run was Ketan Chawla who recorded his fourth straight win and like Lilly tops his group.

In the team championship (15 reds), the pairs of Sourav Kothari-Shivam Arora (India-3) and Kamal Chawla-Lilly (India-4) chalked up their fourth and third win, respectively.
