Megastar Amitabh Bachchan shared that legendary actor Dilip Kumar, who was hospitalised on Saturday morning for "high fever and chest infection", "is doing fine" now.
The "Piku" star posted the news after having a word with the actor's wife Saira Banu about his health.
"Saira ji informs me that he (Dilip Kumar) is doing fine, by the grace of the Almighty... Prayers for a speedy recovery," Bachchan tweeted on Sunday.
The 93-year-old thespian ran high fever and suffered from nausea on Saturday morning and was rushed to Lilavati Hospital here.
The legendary actor, whose real name is Mohammad Yusuf Khan, acted in films like "Madhumati", "Devdas", "Mughal-e-Azam", "Ganga Jamuna", "Ram Aur Shyam" and "Karma" during his six-decade long career.
He was last seen in the film "Qila" in 1998.
Dilip Kumar was awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1994 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2015.
