The Serbian is yet to drop a set at Melbourne Park and took the victory in 93 minutes, reports Xinhua.
Djokovic won the opening set with a solitary break.
From the fourth deuce of the opening game in the second set, Djokovic won 14 of the next 15 points to surge to 4-0 and ended the contest.
Djokovic fired off seven aces and converted six break points in the match.
The Serbian has won all four matches in straight sets and moved to 7-0 all-time against Fognini.
