The DMK on Monday announced it has called an emergency meeting of its Executive Council on Friday to discuss Cauvery river water sharing issue.
In a statement issued by DMK General Secretary K.Anbazhagan here, the Executive Council meeting will be chaired by Working President M.K. Stalin.
The six week deadline given by Supreme Court to the central government to set up the Cauvery Management Board (CMB) ends on March 29, but there is no concrete information from the Central government on setting it up.
