The DMK's general council will meet here Dec 1 and take important decisions, party president M. Karunanidhi said here Thursday.
"The DMK's general council meeting will be held Dec 1 at the party headquarters here. Important decisions will be taken at that meeting," Karunanidhi told reporters.
Queried about the complaints voiced by many and his silence on the manner in which the centenary celebrations of Indian cinema were organised here, Karunanidhi said: "I did not say anything in haste. I will write about that in Murasoli (DMK's Tamil daily) tomorrow (Friday)."
Support and opposition are normal for politicians, he said when asked about the opposition to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi's Tamil Nadu visit Thursday.
