The final season of British television series "Downtown Abbey" will go on air in India on February 17.
The sixth and final season will be telecast in the country via TV channels Star World and Star World HD.
"Downton Abbey" is a historical period drama series created by Julian Fellowes and co-produced by Carnival Films and Masterpiece.
The show has garnered 51 Emmy nominations, having won 11 of them along with three Golden Globe Awards, three Screen Actors Guild Awards, a Producers Guild Award and three BAFTA awards.
