Mosul, July 8 (IANS/AKI) At least 45 Islamic State (IS) fighters died after eating a Ramadan fast-breaking meal in the city of Mosul in Iraq, a media report said

It was unclear if the IS fighters were deliberately poisoned or died of food poisoning from the 'iftar' feast, Iraqi media reported on Tuesday, citing a spokesman for the Kurdish Democratic Party.

A total of 145 IS fighters took part in the 'iftar' and 45 of them died a short while later, according to the Kurdish Democratic Party.
