A 25-year-old diver was shot dead near his house here, police said Wednesday. One person has been detained.
Santosh Kumar Gupta was gunned down in Ghazipur area in east Delhi Tuesday night, police said.
Gupta's wife told police that he was threatened by someone a few days back.
"We have detained a person on the basis of the statement of Gupta's wife," said a police official, refusing to give details about the person being questioned.
