Drugs worth Rs.2 crore seized in Goa

Police seized amphetamine, a party drug, worth Rs.2 crore in Goa and arrested a Briton and an Indian for possessing it.
The seizure followed two police raids late Wednesday.
The first seizure was at an abandoned helipad and the other at a pharmacy, both close to Calangute beach, one of the popular beach tourism destinations, located 20 km from here.
The Briton was identified as Gary Baird and the Indian as Rajendra Gowda-Patil, Superintendent Kartik Kashyap in the anti-narcotics cell said.
