Upcoming Telugu film "Drushyam", remake of Malayalam blockbuster "Drishyam", has completed its shooting and is currently in post-production phase. The makers are planning to release the movie in July.
"The film is currently in post-production stage and is likely to release in July. It has been shot in places such as Araku valley, Vizianagaram, Hyderabad and Kerala," read a statement from the film's production house.
Venkatesh reprises the role of Mohanlal from the original in "Drushyam", which has been directed by actress-filmmaker Sripriya Rajkumar.
Meena, who was seen in the original, will step into the shoes of the same character in the remake as well.
The film is jointly produced by Suresh Productions and Sripriya Rajkumar.
Meanwhile, the Kannada remake of "Drishyam" has also been completed and the makers recently unveiled the first trailer.
Actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan will be seen in the Tamil version of the film soon.
