"Dubai Diaries", a new five-episode TV show, will introduce viewers to the rejuvenating side of Dubai, showcasing the adventure, fun, street food, shopping and fashion in the city.
The show will be aired on NDTV Good Times starting October 6 with actress Tarana Raja, TV host Varun Mitra, food fanatics Rocky and Mayur, adventure junkie Neha Dixit and host Ambika Anand as anchors.
While Dixit will be exploring the adventurous side of Dubai, Mitra will be showing the business world of Dubai, Rocky and Mayur will be experimenting with the street food and delicacies that Dubai has to offer.
Rocky and Mayur, who have earlier hosted the show "Highway On My Plate", shared that today Dubai boasts some of the best street food, and has more than just typical middle eastern dishes to offer.
In a joint statement, they said: "Dubai, a true crossroad of the world. This once small trading post has today grown into a smorgasbord of varied nationalities. Once Dubai became home to the world, the food of the world soon followed. Today Dubai boasts some of the best street food, not just from the middle east, but from everywhere.
"We dug deep into the small nooks and crannies of Dubai and our Dubai diaries share with you all the food treasures we found. Street foods, people, food trends and how the inhabitants of Dubai like to eat, are all things we bring you in our episode."
