DUSU executive committee elections on Oct 15

The election to the 11th executive committee of the Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) will be held Oct 15, said an official statement Monday.

The final list of candidates will be released on Oct 5.

"There shall be election of 11 members for the executive committee of the union as per the DUSU Constitution," said the statement.

"Not less than two out of these 11 members will be girls," added the statement.

The central panel of the DUSU members was elected Sep 14, when the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) bagged the post of president, vice-president and joint secreatry while the post of secretary was taken by the National Students' Union of India (NSUI).
