Singer Ed Sheeran says he he has inherited his temper from his mother who takes a long time to snap, but when she does, it's explosive.
"I'd say my dad is number one in my life in terms of influence and advice. But I don't have his temper, I have my mum's temper. My brother Matthew has my dad's temper. Me and my mum, once in two years we'll snap, and the temper will come up," Sheeran told Britain's OK! magazine.
The singer says his father and his brother "have very short fuses", reports femalefirst.co.uk.
"Every now and then there's one thing (for me). If on a scale of 100, my dad's temper is a 10 on a daily basis and he'll snap, my mum when she snaps will be like 110. And you don't want to go there. To be honest, I don't know the last time I was really angry, not within the past five years," Sheeran said.
Asked the best advice his father has given him, he said: "For the music industry, don't talk about religion or politics. And it's working. I have my own views I feel strongly about. I'm a 26-year-old boy who doesn't really spend a lot of time watching the news or reading the newspapers.
"Therefore, my opinion is not as educated as it could be. So I'm keeping my mouth shut."
