Royal Enfield maker, Eicher Motors Ltd., on Monday reported that its motorcycles sales grew 31% in July to 53,378 units from 40,760 units sold in the corresponding month last year.
Two-wheeler exports also rose 40% to 1,250 units in the last month as compared to 893 units in the year-ago month, the company said in a filing to BSE.
Sales of models with engine capacity of up to 350 cc soared by 31% to 47,651 units while models with engine capacity exceeding 350 cc rose 32% to 5,727 units.
The company's scrip was up 0.02% to Rs 22,470 as of 12.34 p.m.
