An eight-year-old girl was raped by a 40-year-old neighbour here, police said Sunday. The accused is on the run.
Suspect Rajinder, a jobless man who is the neighbour of the girl in Sarai Rohilla area of north Delhi, lured the victim to his house Saturday evening and raped her, police said.
"The girl's parents approached us Saturday night," said a police officer, adding that a medical examination confirmed rape.
