Corrupt officials and people's representatives who loot the country deserve death, and "should be eliminated either by Maoists or terrorists", Rashtriya Janata Dal parliamentarian Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav said Wednesday.
"Corrupt government officials as well as people's representatives should be eliminated either by Maoists or terrorists," Yadav told media persons in his parliamentary constituency Madhepura.
Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi Tuesday admitted that rampant corruption prevailed in his state.
Manjhi said government officials demand bribe if someone goes to them for any work, like issuance of caste certificate.
Manjhi said his family members had to pay a bribe of Rs.5,000 to electricity department officials to get his power bill modified a couple of years ago.
