Australian Pacer Josh Hazlewood Tuesday said England players will have no clue how to beat them in their World Cup opener at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) Feb 14.

Australia have won 13 of their last 15 One-Day Internationals (ODIs) encounters at home.

The 24-year-old further said that the Englishmen will be left "scratching their heads" on how to get on top of the hosts when they meet in the quadrennial event.

"I don't think they quite know how to beat us yet, especially in Australia. We've obviously proved that over the last few years and especially in this series again, beating them a few times," Hazlewood was quoted as saying by the Cricket Australia website.

"So they'll be scratching their heads I guess of how to get on top of us in this first game."

Hazlewood also hopes his team will get off to a flyer and start the World Cup journey with a win under their belts.

"We've been pretty good in one-day series against whoever we've played here," Hazlewood said.

"So to have England again in the first game, hopefully we can get off to a flyer and beat them to get our competition underway."

Hazlewood has picked up 12 wickets in eight ODIs.
