Bulgarian authorities have arrested an English citizen, who was wanted in his homeland and presented himself with 53 different identities, the Interior Ministry said on Tuesday.

The suspect was arrested on Monday in the port city of Burgas after the British authorities informed their Bulgarian counterparts of his location, the Ministry said in a statement cited by Xinhua news agency.

"The 41-year-old English citizen has committed multiple armed robberies," it said, adding that his extradition procedure would be carried out soon.
