Mohun Bagan Friday announced that it has selected Kenyan striker Harrison Eric Muranda as its fourth foreign recruit for the coming football season.
The decision was arrived at after an extensive meeting between Chief Coach Karim Bencherifa and the club's football officials, Mohun Bagan general secretary Anjan Mitra said.
Eric was on trial from Aug 22.
"The decision was taken after evaluating his past football records which includes his experience of playing in South East Asia, extensive trials, including assessing him as a player and also as a human being and comprehensive medical tests," said Mitra in a statement.
The other foreigners in the club are Nigerian forward Odafa Okolie, midfielder Katsumi Yusa of Japan and Nigerian defender Anyichie Echezona.
