Eros International, a global company in the Indian film entertainment industry, has announced its entry into the Marathi film industry with Sujay Dahake's "Phuntroo".

After the success of its production "Tanu Weds Manu Returns", Eros International will foray into regional cinema through a science fiction romantic comedy, read a statement.

Being helmed by Dahake, the film, which is produced by Krishika Lulla, went on the floors last month at Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics in Pune.

"Phuntroo" will feature Ketaki Mategaonkar, who was last seen in "Timepass", along with Madan Deodhar and Shivraj Waichal.
