Escape fest - where music meets fashion

Designer Bal Chauhan will bring in style statement at the 'Escape' music festival by showcasing some of his creative designs under his label Bhootsavar.

The three-day-festival starts Friday at Naukuchiatal in Nainital and the fashion show will comprise of Nitin's collection that will be a mix of art and fashion, reads a statement.

Bhootsavar is cool and funky in essence, says the designer.

"There are some people who spend hours cracking a riff, while others who can't stop their feet when they listen to a beat. Each individual has a passion, which helps him express himself, touch freedom and experience madness."

"Bhootsavaar translates to this passion. We believe in people who are mad enough to follow their passion without giving in," said the designer, who is also an avid painter.

The collection comprises of t-shirts, dresses, shirts and variations of draped dhoti pants. There is heavy styling in terms of trademark NBC (Nitin Bal Chauhan) metallic headgears, bags and fluorescent scarves.
