Rome, March 27 (IANS/AKI) Tensions within the European Union are a worry for the world, but none of its 28 member states or parties have called the bloc into question, Italy's Foreign Minister Enzo Moavero Milanesi said on Wednesday.
"The European Union is currently a cause for global concern, but none of its current political forces contests its very concept," he said.
Moavero admitted, however, that there existed "very different visions" of the EU, as is shown by the "incredible" case of Brexit.
The minister was speaking at a seminar on Italian economy and geo-economic scenarios organised by Italy's main business lobby Confindustria.
