Actor Ewan McGregor has filed for divorce from his wife of 22 years, Eve Mavrakis.
McGregor has cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for wanting to end his marriage to Mavrakis, reports tmz.com.
McGregor, represented by attorney Fahi Takesh Hallin, wants joint custody of the couple's three minor children.
Mavrakis, represented by Laura Wasser, has asked for sole physical custody, with visitation going to her ex, as she filed her answer at the same time.
In the documents, McGregor says he is willing to pay spousal support. The date of separation is listed as May 28 of last year.
As for property, sources say there is no prenup so the assets should be evenly divided, reports tmz.com.
The news of McGregor and Mavrakis's split made headlines in October with reports saying that the two had separated as early as May.
The announcement came shortly after photographs McGregor kissing his "Fargo" co-star Mary Elizabeth Winstead, at a London cafe surfaced.
