Almost 30 revellers were hospitalised at Swedish DJ Avicii's gig here.
The concert took place May 17, where fans flocked to the sold-out show, at the 20,000-seat Rogers Centre here. Few concertgoers fell ill even before the DJ began his set, reports contactmusic.com.
According to local reports, 29 fans were taken to the hospital and suffered from side-effects of alcohol or drug use.
"Unfortunately we have a few children who couldn't handle excessive alcohol and partying," said Peter Rotolo, Commander, Emergency Medical Services.
Five people were said to be in a serious condition.
