Farah unveils jewellery line with Persian, Mughal aesthetics

Jewellery brand Tanishq has announced the launch of the second edition of the Farah Khan collection, designed exclusively by her. The range is an extension to the elaborate diamond jewellery collection line launched last year which is an amalgamation of diamonds and other precious stones.

According to Farah, the designs are the take on royal rhapsody of the Persian and Mughal aesthetics in a contemporary perspective.

"I am extremely elated to announce the launch of the second edition of the Farah Khan for Tanishq line. The fact that both brands share the same values and beliefs have made working with Tanishq a wonderful experience and the immense success of the first collection gave me the hope and confidence to recreate the magic once again.

"This collection is a recreation of a glorious era of grandeur, splendor and preciousness. Using intricate floral and bird motifs, it marks a royal celebration of exotic new forms, inspired by striking silhouettes and enchanting colours," said Farah, who was also spotted interacting with guests present at the Tanishq store in the capital's South Extension I and sharing her journey behind making the collection.

The accessories are crafted in 18 karat gold with diamond and other precious stones like ruby, emerald, pearl, citrine, amethyst and topaz, making the designs traditional yet contemporary.

One could see chandelier earrings, cocktail rings, pendant sets and bracelets along with multi-finger rings, ring-earring sets, ear cuffs and front back earring sets.

"We are delighted to present a collection with innovative and unique designs that is representative of every woman's personality, crafted with real high-quality diamonds. The immense success of the collaboration last year encouraged us to introduce yet another collection designed exclusively by Farah Khan Ali," Sandeep Kulhalli, senior vice president, retail and marketing, Jewellery Division, Titan Company Limited, said in a statement.

The collection is available exclusively at select Tanishq stores across India.
