Actress Akshara Haasan, who donned a bride's look for an ongoing fashion extravaganza here, believes comfort with one's own self is more important than being fashionable.
"It is not really that important because at the end of the day you should be comfortable with what you are wearing and more than that you should be comfortable with who you are," Akshara told IANS on being asked about the importance of fashion for her as a celebrity.
The actress, who is the daughter of veteran actors Kamal Haasan and Sarika, was seen as the showstopper for Rina Dhaka's latest collection at the BMW India Bridal Fashion Week 2015 and believes that clothes and brands do not matter for making a fashion statement.
"It does not matter what you are wearing...who you are as a person makes a statement in itself. So fashion for me is to 'be yourself'," she added.
