FC Goa sign Brazilian Coelho to replace injured Simoes
FC Goa on Wednesday replaced its injured Brazilian striker Victor Simoes with compatriot Rafael Coelho for the remainder of the Indian Super League (ISL) football tournament.
Coelho will be wearing the No.20 jersey and will be available for selection to head coach Zico for Goa's next match against Chennaiyin FC on Thursday, a statement from the club said.
Simoes has been ruled out of the first phase of the Indian Super League (ISL) with injury.
Goa are currently in the third spot in the standings of the eight-team league with 11 points from seven matches.
