The Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) under the Union Finance Ministry on Friday approved four foreign direct investment (FDI) proposals worth around Rs 710 crore, a ministry official said.
The proposals approved included one from Advanced Enzyme Technologies investment worth Rs 480 crore.
The Economic Affairs Secretary Shaktikanta Das-headed FIPB, which considered 14 investment proposals on Friday, also cleared those of Corona Remedies, Macmillan Publishers International and Ordain Health Care Global, the official added.
Three proposals, including that of Flag Telecom Singapore and Star Den Media Services, were rejected.
Moreover, eight proposals, including that of IBM India, were deferred, the official said.
