Singer Stacy Ann Ferguso, popularly known as Fergie, has filed legal papers to adopt her stage name as her official name.
The member of band Black Eyed Peas is expecting her first child with husband Josh Duhamel, and wants to be known as Fergie Duhamel now, reports thesun.co.uk.
Her lawyer says it will "conform to the first name which she is commonly and professionally known as, and has been for many years".
However, she is told that as per the procedure, she will have to publish a notice in a local newspaper for four weeks.
