National Award-winning director Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan's next film, based on India's victory in the 1983 cricket World Cup, will go on floors early next year.
The yet untitled film's producer Vishnu Vardhan Induri told IANS: "We are working on the pre-production. The film will go on floors by early next year. At this moment, I can't reveal anything about the film and as it's a period drama, a lot of things need to fall into place before we start rolling (the cameras for it)."
It has been reported that many foreign technicians will be collaborating for the film. Auditions for the lead actor will happen soon, said Induri.
"I can't say whether we will be going with an established actor or a newcomer. It all depends... We will start auditioning for this film soon and we will move ahead with it, depending on who suits the role best," he added.
