A financier was stabbed to death in south Delhi by two of his neighbours to whom he had lent money, police said on Monday.
Police said accused Ajay and Anil stabbed Akash multiple times on Friday when he was returning home in Lodhi Colony after making collections.
"As Aakash collapsed in a pool of blood, Ajay and Anil fled. A passer-by informed the police. He was admitted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences Trauma Centre," a senior police officer said.
"Last week, Aakash had a heated argument with the two over interest on the loaned amount, which Ajay and Anil refused to pay," the officer added.
Aakash succumbed to his injuries on Sunday night. The two accused are absconding.
