Fire broke out on a Telugu film set in Annapurna Film Studios here on Monday evening, police said.
Huge flames were seen on the sets of a movie at the studio, owned by the family of popular actor Nagarjuna, in posh Banjara Hills.
Five fire engines were called to douse the flames.
Short circuit is believed to be the cause of the fire. Further details were awaited.
